WHAT WE PAY FOR

Here's just some of the expenses we expect to incur. It gives you an idea of what it takes to put a story together on film.

• Airfare for two people costs $2,500.00
• Salaries for three crew people and two translators in Kenya will total about $15,000.
• Driving around Kenya is expensive! We'll pay $4,000 for ground travel while there.
• Camera, sounds and lights rental will cost $7,500.
• Food in Kenya is relatively inexpensive, but we'll still pay about $3,000 over the five weeks of production.
• Can't travel without insurance. Ours will cost $5,300.
• Tape stock alone, to cover this beautiful story in all its dimensions, will cost about $1,000.
